Lafazanis Winery
The history of the Lafazanis Winery began 70 years ago, in 1946, when Vasilis Lafazanis started crafting wine in Piraeus. In 1960, the Lafazanis family established its first privately-owned winery in Magoula, Attica. In 1985, the family’s second generation, with its academic education on oenology, its experience, and its vision, laid the foundations for a high-quality, state-of-the-art winery. Ever since that time, armed with its implicit faith in the fruits of Greek viticulture, the Lafazanis Winery works seamlessly to cultivate grape varieties native to Greece and produce superb quality wines. In 1993, faithfully keeping to that perspective, Spyros Lafazanis took the initiative to establish an even more advanced winery in the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Nemea zone. By showcasing Agiorgitiko and many other domestic and international grape varieties, Spyros Lafazanis crafted new wines of exquisite quality that reflect the company’s flawless know-how and the region’s enormous potential for top quality. In 2005, in order to achieve a more seamless operation, the company decided to separate its commercial activities from its winemaking pursuits and move its commercial sector to Magoula, Attica, under the management of Georgios Lafazanis. The company’s winegrowing and winemaking sector remained in Nemea. For a variety of reasons, in 2008, the company’s two sectors went their separate ways. Spyros Lafazanis remained at the Nemea winery and continued perfecting it. In 2012, the winery began production of pomace distillates with the emphasis placed on tsipouro crafted from pomace originating in the Peloponnese’s most celebrated grape varieties. During that same year, a warehouse and distribution center opened its doors in Elefsina, Attica, to offer customers improved turnaround times and facilitate its distribution activities throughout Greece.

Vassaltis Vineyards
Vassaltis is the latest addition to Santorini’s long, storied winemaking history. Owner Yannis Valambous’ passion for wine drew him back to the island of Santorini, where he spent many a happy family holiday as a child. In the wake of the 2010 Greek financial crisis, a plan took root in his mind, a plan that was part dream, part folly. Yannis sought to breathe new life into the vineyards he inherited from his father. Looking out across the vines, Yannis saw the potential to create something truly exceptional and unique with the land his father left him. He focused in on a single goal – to transform the family vineyards into a thoroughly modern, state-of-the-art boutique winery and craft exquisite wines which showcase the quality of Santorini’s grapes. It took a few years, but when construction of the new winery finished in April 2016, Yannis was ready to dive into his new venture. Working alongside the exceptionally talented oenologists Elias Roussakis and Yannis Papaeconomou, they entered the next phase of this exciting endeavour – crafting the wine. The three men were brought together by a shared vision: to prove that Santorini is capable of producing world-class wines and that the new generation of Greek winemakers, using their skill and winemaking artistry, are the ones to help bring these wines to an international audience of wine lovers.

Alpha Estate
Alpha Estate is located in Amyndeon, Northwest Greece, in the heart of the Amyndeon appellation and in a significant geo-morphological site. With beautiful views over the Petron and Vegoritida lakes it lies between the picturesque Nimfeon village, the beautiful ski center of Pisoderi (Vigla) and the ski resort of Ag. Athanasios (Voras - Kaimaktsalan). The altitude, exceeding 600 meters, its immediate proximity to the lakes, the moderate yearlong north west winds, low precipitations, the alluvium, sandy, low fertility soils, combined with a scientifically designed single block vineyard are the components to a unique terroir in which we achieve expression in the production of complex, unique and multidimensional wines. Alpha Estate is the brainchild of two visionaries, the 2nd generation Vinegrower Makis Mavridis and the Bordeaux trained Winemaker Angelos Iatridis. Their aim is to promote contemporary Greek vinegrowing and winemaking to the world. Human factor is indispensable to the expression of all elements, gracefully offered by the unique ecosystem of the single block, privately owned 220ha vineyard in the production of our wines. Main feature of our work is the “soul’’ of the people that contribute every day to this dream. Respect to nature, high quality, eco-friendly growing practices and typicity of the produced wines are possible by implementing mild, integrated viticulture and winemaking protocols, based on the most recent international standards. These are necessary conditions for the desirable result, wines sealed under the Alpha Estate label.

Lyrarakis Wines
Lyrarakis Wines is a family-owned winery, established in 1966 on the island of Crete, Greece. During these five decades, our family has devoted itself to the revival of indigenous, almost extinct, grape varieties of Crete like Dafni, Plyto, Melissaki and others, vinificating wines that highlight their distinctive character. The vision of Lyrarakis Winery is reflected in our logo. The rows and perspective of a vineyard form the Greek letter “Λ” (lambda), which is the initial of the family’s name. The “motion” in these lines expresses the dynamism of the winery, the continuous investment in the vineyard and in research, as well as the new perspectives we are trying to create for Cretan wine and Cretan agricultural production.

Domaine Glinavos S.A
We believe that each wine should tell a story. The story of its variety, its production, its maturation, the story of the rains, the burning sun and the land it grows on. The blessed and famous land of PDO Zitsa in Ioannina gives us some of the best Greek wines. For this reason, we chose to walk the less frequented path, the one of keeping the tradition and of harmonic collaboration with modern technology. From collecting grapes by hand until the discreet but essential use of modern technology, we combine the best elements of both worlds.

Achaia Clauss
PATRAS, 1854 Bavarian Gustav Clauss, captivated by the cultural refinement of the Achaean capital and the lively tastes of its vineyards, decides to establish the first wine estate in Hellas. He builds a homestead settlement, complete with cathedral towers in the form of belfries, thus enabling an entire village to live, work and develop around the nucleus of wine production. PATRAS, 1873 1873 sees the birth of the warm, full-bodied, sweet desert wine Mavrodaphne with its distinctive violet colour. PATRAS, 1901 Soon after, the tantalizing and aromatic Patras Muscat gives rise to a charming delicate wine of the mountainsides of Kalavryta and bottles Demestica for the first time. Demestica becomes the ambassador for Greek wine production, its fame rapidly crossing the borders to spread Gustav’s winemaking skills all over the world. PATRAS, 1919 ACHAIA CLAUSS becomes Hellenic owned. The plant’s gradual modernization and technical production begin. The traditional winemaking section however is preserved, providing evidence of ACHAIA CLAUSS’s fundamental contribution to the development of refined wines in Hellas. PATRAS, today Achaia Clauss is producing its wines in a new winery with up-to date technology, only a few kilometers away from the historic facilities. ACHAIA CLAUSS is a time oasis, offering its beauty and its history up to time, το two hundred thousand visitors per year, and to those who love it and are concerned with the preservation of its uniqueness. It is a page out of our history books stubbornly refusing to age, maintaining its freshness and sense of adventure from that time in 1854 when a young, rebellious bohemian Gustav Clauss challenged the values and traditions of the prestigious bourgeoisie of the era by creating the best-known and longest lived Wine Ambassador of Hellas in the world.

Estate Argyros
Estate Argyros has been established in 1903 in Santorini, but the Argyros family has been involved in wine production for decades before that. Since the beginning, there has been a focus on both wine making and vine growing, through a deep understanding that great grapes are always a prerequisite for great wines. The Estate Argyros Winery, located in Episkopi and established in 2015, is a cutting edge establishment, certainly one of the most impressive on the island, covering more than m2. Utmost care has been taken to create a most stylish and impressive visitors area, but most of the emphasis was placed in the production facilities, making sure that every stage of the wine making process can be handled with both maximum control and minimum intervention. Estate Argyros is the largest private owner of vineyards in Santorini. The current landholdings exceed 120 ha, a vast, four-generations-long investment. The magnitude of this commitment can only be understood only when someone takes into account the fact that, in Santorini, there are numerous, far more lucrative uses of land readily available, and, sadly, more frequently preferred. Estate Argyros vineyards are old, even by Santorini standards. The average vine age exceeds 70 years, while the oldest parcels of the estate are more than two centuries old. The average yields, on a plentiful vintage, rarely gets higher than 21 hl/ha, an impressively, if not catastrophically, low number, matched by very few wines around the world. Estate Argyros works almost exclusively with old vines. Work in the vineyard is meticulous, with hundred of man-hours per year per hectare, since every single vine is considered a unique organism. Estate Argyros is producing very small quantities of top quality wines. The recipe in the cellar is that there is no recipe, with each plot being harvested, vinified and aged separately until very late in the production process to achieve purity and elegance

Chatzivaritis Estate
It all started with love… when Vagelis Chatzivaritis met Olga Iakovidou back in 1981. Olga was from Goumenissa — a small town in Northern Greece with a long-standing winemaking tradition. That land, steeped in quiet magic, would soon become Vagelis’ lifelong calling. In 1994, Vagelis planted his first 5-hectare vineyard in the Bidablas area, choosing organic cultivation from the very beginning — long before it became a trend. His focus was simple: healthy soil, quality grapes, and respect for the land. As the vineyards expanded into the Filyria region, the dream took on new form. In 2007, he built a small boutique winery right in the heart of the vineyard. That same year, the first bottles of PDO Goumenissa were released — a blend of Xinomavro and Negoska that quickly earned a reputation for its elegance and authenticity. From there, the range grew to include reds, whites, and rosés — always rooted in the land, always crafted with care. In 2017, Chloi — daughter of Vagelis and Olga — returned to Goumenissa after studying oenology in France and Portugal and working harvests in France, New Zealand, Argentina, and Chile. She brought with her a fresh perspective and a deep passion for low-intervention winemaking. Blending global experience with local roots, she introduced a new wave of wines — natural, expressive, and bold. Pét-nats, carbonic maceration, wild fermentations — each bottle was a quiet rebellion and a loving nod to tradition. Today, the estate spans 22 hectares, focused on indigenous Greek varieties like Xinomavro, Negoska, Roditis, Malagousia, Muscat, and Assyrtiko, alongside select international grapes. The approach remains hands-on, honest, and deeply connected to the land. Two generations, one shared vision — crafting wines that speak not just of place, but of passion. From soil to soul.

Ktima Biblia Chora
Ktima Biblia Chora is located on the slopes of Mount Pangeon, in the village of Kokkinochori, in the Kavala region, an area with a rich historical connection to viticulture. The ancient winegrowing heritage and the ideal soil and climatic conditions caught the attention of winemakers Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis. It inspired both men to establish a new estate in Pangeon. They decided to name “Ktima Biblia Chora” (ktima means: estate) following the references found in ancient writings, as suggested by Dr. Stavroula Kourakou Dragona. In 1998 the estate’s first vines were planted, covering an area of 7 ha. The construction of the modern winery began in June 2001 and the first wines of Ktima Biblia Chora were vinified that same year.
