Vitkin Winery
A small family owned and managed winery, led by a brother-sister partnership. Vitkin Winery, which led the ABC (anything but Cabernet/ Chardonnay) revolution, produces award winning wines and pioneered Mediterranean varieties in Israel. Bordeaux trained winemaker Assaf Paz, the father of quality Carignan in Israel, is a most innovative winemaker, who has created and led new trends in the country. Sharona Belogolovski is the CEO. She is one of the first and most prominent woman CEO’s of a winery in Israel. Vitkin Winery is situated at Kfar Vitkin in the Sharon Plain, easily accessible from Routes 2,4 and 6. Tzora Vineyards
Tzora Vineyards, established in 1993 by Ronnie James, was one of the first to plant on the high elevation slopes of the Judean Hills. The Judean Hills rise sharply from the coastal plain and offer ideal conditions for growing exceptional fruit. The wines are produced solely from Tzora's own estate vineyards and express the quality and character of the Judean Hills terroir. Eran Pick, Tzora Vineyards' winemaker and technical director, completed his B.S degree in Viticulture and Enology at the University of California, Davis. He is the first Israeli Master of Wine. Jean-Claude Berrouet, former winemaker at Chateau Petrus, has been serving as consultant for Tzora Vineyards since 2010. The team’s aim is to produce wines that tell a sincere, authentic story of the local soil and climate of the Judean Hills.

1848 Winery
1848 Winery was founded by Yossi Shor in 2006 with the objective of making small quantities of handcrafted wines of the highest possible quality. He is the 8th generation of the Shor family that founded Israel's oldest recorded winery in the Old City of Jerusalem in 1848. He began his quest by planting new vineyards from in some of the finest wine growing areas in Israel: Galilee, Golan Heights and the Judean Hills. The winemaker is French born, Bordeaux trained Ilan Assouline. Dr. Pini Sarig, one of the leading and most experienced viticulturists in Israel, is advising in all aspects of the vineyard from planting to harvesting.
