Rubio Monocoat USA imports and distributes a unique hardwax oil that both protects and colors raw wood. It is 0 VOC, comes in 50+ colors, is applied in one coat and can easily be maintained and cleaned, making it an ideal finish for both residential and commercial applications. 0% WATER AND VOC Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus does not contain water: its components are mainly natural products. Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus is 0% volatile organic components (= VOC free). COLORS AND PROTECTS THROUGH MOLECULAR BONDING Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus adheres with the first microns of the wood by molecular bonding (with no film forming nor saturation). This is why the consumption is much lower than with a traditional wood finishing system. DURABLE PROTECTION The molecular bonding creates a durable, long lasting protection. To obtain this molecular bonding it is very important to strictly respect this reaction time of a couple of minutes. The better the fibers are bonded, the stronger the protection will be. NO OVERLAPS Once all free cellulose fibers are molecularly bonded, surplus product will no longer be accepted by the wood or the bonded Monocoat layer itself. This is why overlaps or starting marks are avoided. TIME SAVING: COLORING AND PROTECTING IN ONE COAT It is pointless to apply a second layer on top of Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus because this extra layer will not be able to bond with the free wood fibers or with the primarily - bonded- Monocoat layer. EASY TO REPAIR This technology allows local repair of damaged areas or scratches: only the free wood fibers will absorb the product. The product next to the scratched or damaged area will not adhere. After the reaction time all surplus product can be removed without overlaps. UNIQUE COLORS The unique Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus pigmentation technology allows an intense and deep coloring in one single layer, without influencing the natural look and feel of the wood.

Berdoll Sawmill is a family-owned and operated sawmill just east of Austin, Texas. We take pride in producing the highest quality, kiln dried live edge slabs and furniture-grade lumber available. We exclusively harvest and mill native Texas hardwood logs from sustainable sources within about a 100 mile radius of the sawmill. We specialize in milling, drying and surfacing live edge slabs with the capacity to mill slabs up to 82 inches wide. Our slabs are carefully kiln dried to a moisture content of 6-8% in our computer-controlled kilns, then surfaced flat on our 100 inch wide jointer/planer and are ready for final sanding and finishing. We stock board feet of kiln dried 4/4 and 8/4 furniture-grade native Texas hardwood lumber in the following species: Texas Pecan, Mesquite, Walnut and limited quantities of other native Texas species. We take extra care in keeping boards from the same tree together, providing book-matched sets as well as natural edge lumber. Our lumber is sold rough sawn or surfaced flat on both faces. We also stock kiln dried, hardwood mantels in Texas Pecan, Mesquite and Walnut. Our 100″ wide jointer/planer is available for custom surfacing, to accurately flatten slabs or table tops. A full suite of woodshop services are available including: jointing, planing, wide belt sanding, straight line ripping, resawing and other specialty millwork. Our two bandsaw sawmills are also available for custom milling. Our extensive inventory is stored in a 4,500 SF humidity controlled showroom, with slabs displayed vertically for easy viewing and lumber is in accessible lumber racks.
