I find a lot of joy in people-centered work and I have quite the experience in leading a myriad of projects and initiatives to improve team and organizational culture. A few of the value-adding projects I have done aim to- Improve our Employee Value Proposition and candidate experience - Lead recruitment initiatives to increase Gender Diversity and Retention- Partner with leadership to establish wellness and improve culture to foster staff inclusivity and belonging, especially in a remote world. I am also an efficiency enthusiast as I have a lot of experience in improving processes and implementing innovative ideas to reduce the time and effort spent on a task. A few examples; are creatively improving staff onboarding experiences, automating the scheduling of high-volume interviews across multiple timezones and managing an automated staff-facing Referral Program etc. Away from my organization contributions, you’ll catch me often reading and learning as much as I can on Social Psychology and Human Rights topics. My goal is to push for more Africans to take up mental wellness more seriously and, engage more thoughtfully in the Social Justice discourse. On top of that, you can catch me co-hosting a podcast called Sharing Notes KE where various social topics that matter are discussed.
