Five years later, with huge community support, it is a thriving space. Redcatch Community Garden is a Community Benefit Society (CBS) with charitable status and a member of Cooperatives UK. A CBS operates on a not-for-profit basis for all purposes and has aims that benefit the whole community. It is democratically managed by its members and board. We seek to engage with and respond to the needs of our communities. Redcatch Community Garden offers opportunities for engagement by bringing local people together to learn, socialise, share skills and experiences and improve their health and wellbeing. Community Action Malvern & District
Community Action is a local charity that works to combat isolation and loneliness experienced by local older and disabled people. Not only do we help people by providing community transport so they are not stuck at home alone, struggling to make vital hospital appointments or to see their local doctors, we also run events and groups people can come to to make new friends and enjoy new activities. If you live or work in the Malvern area you may have seen our community buses or wheelchair accessible vehicles or you may have heard of our car service where volunteers use their own vehicles to help people get out and about. These are just some of the many services provided by Community Action Malvern and District. And if you would like to get involved, we also help you to find the volunteering opportunity that works for you within your local area, either with us or with our many partners. We are an integral part of the community and every weekend 400+players and coaches represent the club on the field and off across the East of Scotland.
