Viaa in Zwolle, the Netherlands, is a Christian University of Applied Sciences. In 1987 two Reformed educational institutions - the Gereformeerde Sociale Academie (GSA) and the Gereformeerde PABO - merged to become GH. Formerly known as GHBO. As from the start of the academic year 2014-2015 the name has been changed in Viaa. The GSA (a Social Academy) had been founded in 1972 and offered bachelor programs in Social Work and Personnel Policy & Human Resources. A four-year nursing program was added to the GSA in 1981. The Gereformeerde PABO (Reformed Teacher Education for Primary Education) was established in the 1950's in Enschede. In 1984 the PABO settled in Zwolle, to merge with the GSA a few years later. At the Amsterdam Law School, we take a committed and open-minded look at the role and place of law in a (international) society that is constantly changing. University College Roosevelt is a Liberal Arts and Sciences, international honors university college of Utrecht University, located in Middelburg, the Netherlands. You can construct your own academic program from over 200 courses, tailor-made to your individual interests. Winc Academy
Anyone can learn to program. We are convinced of that! Learning to work with code is becoming increasingly important. The tech industry is growing enormously, as a result of which the demand for people with the right skills is growing faster than the supply. With an innovative way of teaching, we ensure that our students develop these necessary skills. We train developers to start working immediately and teach professionals how to perform their work more efficiently with the help of (low/no-) code tools. Winc Academy makes learning to program accessible to everyone by offering remote training courses, which you can start right away. All courses can be followed at your own pace and without any specific prior education. Despite this flexible approach, we find it important that Winc remains personal. We know our students and you know us and your fellow students! Learning (online) together is much more fun and instructive than alone. Winc was founded in 2018 as a 100% remote school, so remote learning is in our DNA. We do not believe that it is enough to put a camera on a teacher and have everyone log in at home via a video conferencing tool. Remote teaching is much more than that. For example, how do you build a teaching program so students do not lose their attention? Or how do we ensure that we stay in touch with each other? How do we achieve a learning goal together? And how do we know if you really get it? We've spent a lot of love and attention on all of these themes, and continue to do so on a daily basis. Because of this, our model has continued to improve in recent years.
