The FSA wants you to meet your future employer. We support students in making the step from university to the labor market. The FSA informs students about job opportunities via various online channels, but primarily and more importantly we facilitate face to face contact between students and employers. The FSA hosts a total of 20 events for its students. We focus our services on students with an affinity for finance, business, accountancy, consultancy or economics. Our portfolio of partner companies is unmatched in the Netherlands. We host events for the world’s largest investment banks, consultancy firms, asset managers and multinationals. J.P. Morgan, McKinsey & Company, Blackrock, HAL Investments and AB Inbev to name a few. ISVW. De beste plek voor denkers sinds 1916. Al ruim een eeuw is de Internationale School voor Wijsbegeerte het kennisinstituut waar filosofie en praktijk elkaar ontmoeten. De Internationale School voor Wijsbegeerte is opgericht als centrum voor wereld- en levensbeschouwing. De doelstelling, die in honderd jaar nauwelijks is gewijzigd, luidt: ‘De stichting heeft ten doel het (nagenoeg) uitsluitend zonder winstoogmerk beoefenen van filosofie en daardoor bijdragen aan de kwaliteit van het persoonlijk en maatschappelijk leven en het verdiepen van levens- en wereldbeschouwing, en voorts al het geen daar rechtstreeks of zijdelings mee verband houdt, of daartoe bevorderlijk is of kan zijn, alles in de ruimste zin van het woord en in het algemeen belang.’ De ISVW is een onafhankelijke non-profitorganisatie. Zij verkrijgt haar inkomsten via het Landgoed ISVW en de bijdragen van donateurs, waaronder de Vrienden van de ISVW. De ISVW organiseert gemiddeld honderd filosofieweken, beroepsopleidingen, summerschools, evenementen en filosofische cafés per jaar. Onder de kostprijs. Daarnaast brengt ISVW Uitgevers per jaar gemiddeld vijfentwintig filosofieboeken uit. CS Opleidingen is in 2009 opgericht als antwoord op de vraag naar hoogwaardige praktijkopleidingen, gericht op het verkrijgen van regie op de grote geldstromen in de sociale zekerheid en zorg. Grondleggers zijn Herwin Schrijver en Marjol Nikkels-Agema. Beiden verzorgen al sinds 1998 maatwerkopleidingen op het vakgebied van sociale zekerheid. De grote vraag naar opleidingen op het gebied van sociale zekerheid is niet zo vreemd. De ontwikkelingen in de sociale zekerheid volgen elkaar in hoog tempo op. Een organisatie met personeel heeft globaal met circa 40 wetten en/of regelingen te maken waar het de medewerkers betreft. De juiste uitvoering ervan is inmiddels een behoorlijk complexe puzzel. Graag helpen wij u om met meer en betere kennis het niveau van de uitvoering te verbeteren. Faculty Association Eos
EOS is the study association of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. The Faculty Association is named after Eos, the Goddess of Dawn, and was founded on 27 August 1996. On that particular day, the merger of Mundus (Political Science Association) and Com Laude (Communication Science Association) was a done deal. Meanwhile, with more than 1100 members, EOS has grown into one of the largest and most active associations of the Vrije Universiteit and the Netherlands. It currently has its XXIXth board and in the past 28 years, the association has developed strongly in all areas. As a faculty association, EOS does not represent one specific study, but we are there for all programs of the Faculty of Social Sciences. That includes the bachelor's programs in Administrative and Organisational Science, Communication Science, Sociology, Political Science, and Cultural Anthropology & Development Sociology. We also represent both Dutch- and English-language pre-masters and master's degree programs, including Public Administration, Communication Studies, Political Science and Policy, Communication and Organisation (BCO). There are over 15 committees with a total of more than 60 committee members who organise very diverse and always interesting activities throughout the year concerning study, fun and business. There are also facilitating committees that support and advise the day-to-day management. By becoming active at EOS, you get the chance to develop yourself and work on your skills. As a committee member, you can organise highly varied activities or go on to do a board year and thereby boost your CV and yourself enormously. Hogeschool Wittenborg In Deventer 1987-2010
Wittenborg was opened by the Mayor of Deventer, C.J.D Waal on 21st September 1987 at it is then location on the Pikeursbaan in Deventer. It was first called Wittenborg InterCollege, however soon dropped the 'Inter' part of the name, keeping just Wittenborg College. From 1996, once it received its state appointment as a University of Applied Sciences it was officially called Hogeschool Wittenborg, and since its move from a Dutch speaking to an English speaking institute in 2007 the University has gradually been changing its title in all publications to Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences. In the early years Wittenborg offered short courses and business to business programmes, in areas such as Marketing, ICT, and Communication. It also offred language courses in English. Wittenborg started to offer short degree courses in the 1990's and full Bachelor programmes since 1996, when it received its University of Applied Sciences status. Although Wittenborg has been offering full English taught degree programmes only since 2002, Wittenborg International was already offering courses in in cooperation with partners in Poland. In 2012, the 25th Anniversary celebrations came after a time during which Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences has become an institute with a strong international profile while having significantly changed its appearance, location, and expanded its Bachelor and Master programmes through a long term partnership with the University of Brighton. It is intended that the festivities will reflect the current student body and the institute's partnerships, whilst looking back at the past acheivements and its students and forward to developing programmes and future growth. Horticulture And Product Physiology - Wageningen University And Research
Horticulture and Product Physiology (HPP) is one of the chair groups of Wageningen University and Research. The role we play is to foster the science of the supply chain for crops produced under controlled environment agriculture (greenhouses and vertical farms). The focus of the group is on controlled environment agriculture and the post-harvest quality of products produced in greenhouses and vertical farms. Responses of physiological processes to the environment are studied aiming to predict and control the phenotype of the plant and plant products. Growth and development of plants as well as product quality are studied as emergent properties of underlying physiological and genetic processes. Research fields such as phenotyping,(LED) light regulation of plant processes and functional-structural plant modelling are gaining increasing prominence. The research of the group is centred around plant growth & development, photosynthesis and product physiology.
