De Kleine Tiki is een (deeltijd) opleiding voor kunst, persoonlijke ontwikkeling en coachen. We bieden een opleidingsaanbod waarin je los van ‘hoe het hoort’ vrij en kunstzinnig leert creëren en/of coachen. Je gaat op unieke en vooral kunstZINnige wijze één dag in de twee weken aan de slag met levensthema’s. Deze thema’s onderzoek je met verf, potlood, klei, poëzie beweging en meer…. Je neemt de ruimte om jezelf in beeld te brengen (als mens én als professional) en komt zo tot diepgaande inzichten. We vragen geen artistieke ervaring, wel levenservaring en bereidheid tot zelfonderzoek. Welk opleidingsjaar je ook kiest, je gaat ervaren dat er twee werelden samenkomen, namelijk die van 'de kunst’ en ‘het coachen’. Je hebt de keuze uit verschillende opleidingsjaren die ieder een eigen focus kennen. Zo kun je verschillende basisjaren volgen, maar ook de opleiding tot Kunstzinnig Dynamisch Coach en de opleiding tot Bezield Kunstenaar. Iedere opleiding bestaat uit meerdere opleidingsjaren, maar één enkel opleidingsjaar volgen is ook mogelijk. EMI maakt de verbinding tussen de verschillende maatschappelijke opgaves, het onderwijs en onderzoek. Dat doen we door Communities of Practice te vormen. Samen met sociale pioniers, professionals uit het bedrijfsleven, de gemeente, zorg, onderwijs, welzijn, en met ook wetenschappers en studenten van Hogeschool Rotterdam werken we aan meerjarige programma’s om Rotterdam-Zuid te versterken. Binnen die Communities of Practice kunnen studenten van Hogeschool Rotterdam bijzondere leerervaring opdoen, en zich binnen de superdiverse context van Rotterdam-Zuid verder ontwikkelen tot professional van de toekomst. Docenten hebben hierin een belangrijke rol. Ook zij brengen hun expertise in en geven mee vorm aan de manier waarop de studenten werken op Zuid.

Grow - Research Institute For Oncology And Reproduction
The aims of GROW are: To prevent cancer, improve cancer diagnosis, increase survival rates of cancer patients, improve the quality of life and maintain optimal functional abilities of cancer patients. We look beyond survival and aim to achieve preservation and/or restoration of all functions determining health, being bodily functions, mental wellbeing, daily functioning, social participation, meaning and quality of life. We perform translational research covering the complete spectrum of cancer management from prevention to aftercare. To provide the best possible start in life by focusing specifically on a healthy conception, pregnancy and long-term health outcome. We do this by performing translational research on fertility, the role of the environment on the development of gametes, embryos, fetuses, newborns and children. In addition, we study the effect of pregnancy on women’s health.
