Ongwe Minerals Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the discovery and advancement of significant mineral assets across Africa, with a particular focus on gold in Namibia. The Khorixas Gold Project is Situated just 60 km west of Osino's Eureka gold project. The Khorixas project is easily accessible and positioned within the Northern Zone of the Damara Orogenic Belt. Two major surface discoveries have already been made namely, Belmont and K17. The Belmont prospect has a mineralized surface footprint of approximately 12 × 6 km and lies between the Khorixas-Gaseneirob and Belmont Thrust Zones. Although 90% of the area is covered by calcrete and scree, our exploration efforts have already pinpointed 18 target areas based on calcrete and grab sampling. This demonstrates the strong mineralization potential beneath surficial cover and work is ongoing to further delineate the in-situ mineralization.
