Hydronaut Project
Hydronaut Project Deep Lab 03 is a unique underwater lab that serves as a research facility for training of survival in limited and extreme environments. This underwater habitat’s controlled atmosphere allows for examination of influences of pressure, dampness, CO2, long-term stress, artificial lighting, or isolated environment on the human organism, materials, devices, and biological materials. The station enables a three-member crew long-term stay (stretching over several weeks) under the water surface. Its unique construction combining the caisson principle and submarine allows for a maneuverable vertical motion; during the mission, the crew can leave the station wearing diving gear to carry out tasks under the water surface. Leaning on the support team, with 24/7 contact with Mission Control that is in charge of regular checks of the facility’s technical and living conditions, the crew is briefed through an own communication and project management online system, fully secured and decentralized. Hydronaut Deep Lab 03’s key feature rests in its applicability for planning of certain space missions and their aspects, as well as space research since the station cannot be evacuated immediately without endangering the lives of the crew due to the risk of the so-called caisson disease (decompression sickness). That said, planning such simulated space missions requires that a staged decompression ascent in the return module lasting several hours be taken into consideration. Hydronaut Project is the official supplier of the European Space Agency (ESA Bic). Furthermore, it collaborates with Czech Technical University in Prague, the National Institute of Mental Health CR, and receives kind support from The European Structural and Investing Funds Operation Programme of the city of Prague. Should you be interested in any means of collaboration, do not hesitate and get in touch with the Project Manager: Mr. Jiri Schneider jiri.schneider@hydronaut.eu

Clinical Research Center
Clinical Research Center is the first Clinical Trial Site Network in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Clinical Research Center (CRC) has been building a team of professional trained clinical study coordinators who increase the work efficiency of physicians and patient comfort by their services and knowledge. We have formed and managed a network of selected physicians from various medical fields in order to ensure high quality elaboration and execution of clinical studies. We currently actively cooperate with more than 100 well-tried medical centers. The total number of medical centers in the CRC network is over 120. We believe we offer a service to our physicians, patients and clinical study sponsors that can change the view of drug testing in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, mostly in outpatient care and will enable participation of a larger number of physicians and patients in clinical studies, while the quality and safety requirements will be met. In the CRC trial site network, we aim to make the process of development and testing of more efficacious drugs and medical devices more efficient while maintaining maximum patient safety. Our knowledge and active engagement in the study progress directly in the medical office allow participation of a greater number of physicians with various specializations in the clinical studies. We remove different types of barriers and minimize the administrative burden on the physicians and their team in clinical study conduct. Thus we increase the trial site capacity, quality and guarantee timeliness. For the patient, the communication becomes easier and their questions are answered almost immediately. We innovate and are capable of managing changes. Based on mutual agreement, CRC supports the recruitment by various campaign forms; however, always in accordance with the instructions of the sponsor and the State Institute for Drug Control, GCP rules, local and European laws.

Faculty Of Science, University Of South Bohemia
The Faculty of Science of the University of South Bohemia is a successor of the Faculty of Biological Sciences founded in 1991. The Faculty offers undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate study in an array of biological disciplines, and since 2007 has extended to chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science). The offer also includes multidisciplinary studies for future high school teachers and professionally oriented studies in the fields of Biomedical Laboratory Technology, Environmental Care, Applied Informatics and Measurement and Computer Technology. Except for study programmes taught in Czech language the faculty offers several programmes taught in English including two cross-border programmes carried you in cooperation with Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. The advantage of studying at the Faculty of Science is the individual approach to students, who could join one of the scientific teams from the first year, where they can participate in international research projects and often celebrate their first research successes. Many field specific as well as multidisciplinary excursions are part of the study of biology and many non-biological fields. In the case of professionally oriented fields, the emphasis is on practices relevant to the field, i.e, for example, in hospital laboratories, manufacturing companies, etc. The long-term aim of the Faculty of Science is to support students' mobility to foreign specialised workplaces and universities throughout the world to get acquainted with different scientific approaches, improve the language skills, and experience different cultures. The faculty is located in the centre of the modern and practically arranged campus of the University of South Bohemia, where a student can conveniently go from the classroom to the dormitory, to the canteen or to the library within a few minutes. The city centre is also within walking distance, with countless pleasant cafes and clubs.
