Since 2008 we have worked to develop tools to simplify the setting up of respondent driven sampling (RDS) research sites to ensure integrity of the data captured. The system is web based and provides the ability for a researcher to manage the data and performance of the research site online. All data collected is RDSAT compatible. We have created a unique automated serial numbering system. The system helps to simplify eligibility screening of participants and links a social network via the serial number. The system prints the invitation coupons with a serial number and allows the number to be scanned into the data base to capture the required data for your research. Project Gender is a social change agency creating positive impact through insights research, breakthrough campaigns and real-world solutions. We've launched the #AotearoaSexSurvey: investigating how people are messaging on dating apps, going on first dates, having sex, and entering relationships. Resilience To Nature's Challenges
The Resilience Challenge is one of the most ambitious initiatives undertaken by Aotearoa New Zealand to develop and apply new scientific solutions to transform our response, recovery and “bounce-back” from our wide diversity of natural hazards. The Resilience Challenge is building new knowledge and tools that underpin a broad-spectrum resilience in our unique rural, urban, coastal and Māori communities to natural hazards, including earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, tsunami, weather, coastal and rural fire hazards. Te Whai Ao -Dodd-Walls Centre (DWC) is a national Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE) involving six universities in New Zealand and partner institutions in the USA, United Kingdom, and Singapore. The DWC is managed from the University of Otago which is ranked 151 globally by QS. The DWC has 224 members, approximately half of whom are research students. Research income includes base CoRE funding from the New Zealand Tertiary Education Commission along with other funding from government and private sector companies. We partner with companies to solve operational problems and develop new products, and we create our own IP for commercialization through fundamental research.
